<p>The pincer of forceps type device is for surgical or medical type applications, in partic. for use in tissue sealing or repair. There is an inner and outer tubular constructional element by means of which the pincer jaws may be activated and within which the heat source for tissue sealing is situated. The heat source is provided by a light beam. The light beam originates in an infra red radiator and is fed from the proximal end of the device to the distal end jaws.</p> |
