<p>In appts. for treating fast-flowing aggressive media, e.g. paper pulp in sieves, material sieves, screens, pumps etc. a coating is provided at the points of friction. The coating comprises an adhesive layer adapted for that substrate, a ceramic friction layer and a PTFE top layer. The adhesive layer is pref. Ni steel and the friction layer of alumina is pref. stabilised with 3-5% titania. The combination reduces electrolytic erosion.</p> |
