Roof coping stone or tile, with a ventilating device incorporated, provides effective protection against rainwater penetration into the roof. For this purpose, outwards protruding knob-shaped attachments (5), with holdes in the middle, (6), are fitted on the outside of the tile (1), in its apex area (4). These holes may taper to an narrower diameter from the inside of the tile to the outside, and may be conical in cross-section. There may be arow of such attachments along the apex line, and a further row on each side of this, with evenly offset holes. The holes through them may be formed by piercing or pressing. There may be a lengthways gutter immediately below the coping tiles, where they abut onto the rafters.
|
