Thermal stability of vinyl chloride polymer is improved by use of a compound of the formula NH2 ¦ R-C=CH-C 3BOND N)n WHEREIN N IS 1 OR 2 AND R is alkyl, alkylene, aryl, arylene, lower alkyl-substituted aryl or arylene, or fluoro-substituted aryl or arylene, alone or in combination with a divalent metal salt of a fatty acid of 12-20 carbon atoms. |
