<p>The roller blind housing comprises a hollow U-shaped profile with integrally attached weather bars of extruded foam plastic at the lower edges of the arms of the profile. The thin inner and outer walls of the profile are statically reinforced with stays which divide the cavity into longitudinally extending insulating chambers. Pref. at least some of the chambers are filled with lightweight foam which is introduced by extrusion. The outer walls of the arms of the profile may be provided with longitudinally obliquely upwardly extending ribs for adhesion of plaster. Pref. the stays in the arms of the profile extend in different directions, some horizontally, while others extend obliquely between the outer wall and the portal-like inner wall. The housing can be mfd. automatically and cheaply, and has sufficient stability, good heat insulation and no additional components, and allows adhesion of plaster.</p> |
