<p>A tube corrugating device in the kind in which a freshly extruded tube is blown into conformity with a tunnel mould formed by the cooperating runs of a pair of mould block carrying chains includes an extrusion head having a first duct for introducing blowing air into the tube in a first region, a second duct for introducing cooling air into the tube at a second region downstream of the first and a baffle for separating the regions. Pref. cooling air is also blown onto the mould blocks as they traverse their return runs. The cooling time for the tube is reduced and the device can operate at a higher speed.</p> |
