<p>A number of linear contact bridges are machined or otherwise exposed, or inset pieces forming linear contacts are placed on the weld surfaces, following which welding is done without damage to the surface layer under spring loaded electrode pressure or current-less pads, using known types of welding machines. Pref. the current connections are away from weld areas. The process ensures minimum interence with and damage to the surface layers thus denuding as small an area as possible of the layers.</p> |
