<p>Glass tankard comprises a tin lid in which is a recess for receiving one or two glass panes which cover one or two photographs which are protected against entry of gas or water. Pref. between a glass body in the lid and the bottom of the lid is a seal in the form of a round-cord rubber seal; or in the glass body or in the edge of the lid is groove for receiving a sealing ring. A sealing compsn. may be introduced between the edge of the lid and the conical outer surface of the glass body. The transparent panes in the lid may be made of "Plexiglas" (RTM), and after introducing the photographs, motifs, etc., a "Plexiglas" (RTM) ring is inserted sealingly between the two panes in the region of adhesive surfaces.</p> |
