摘要 1310220 Electro-medical apparatus L'ELECTRONIQUE APPLIQUEE 15 Oct 1971 [15 Oct 1970] 48151/71 Heading G1N Information concerning the normality or abnormality of the blood pressure condition of a person is provided in the form of a pre-printed ticket which is selected according to blood pressure measurements, e.g. systolic and diastolic pressure measurements, made when the person inserts his arm through a pneumatic sensor which provides an analogue voltage output to an analysising circuit. As shown a pressurized pneumatic sensor 1 and a converter 3 provide a voltage varying with the blood pressure pulses superimposed on the pressure value applied to the sensor which decreases linearly via leak 26. This voltage is applied to an integrator 9 and a differentiator 10. The amplitude of each output pulse of the differentiator 10 is stored at 11 and causes the amplitude of the previous pulse to be transferred to a store 12. Successive outputs of these two stores are compared at 14 and the two charges in sign (from positive to negative and subsequently from negative to positive) of the differences in amplitude detected in a cycle of operation are detected respectively at 15 and 20 which in turn enable respective gates 16 and 21. When these gates are enabled they allow the instantaneous value at the output of integrator 9 to be applied to comparators 17 and 22 respectively. When gate 16 is enabled the integrator output represents the systolic pressure amplitude, the diastolic pressure amplitude being represented when gate 21 is operated. The comparators 17, 22 compare their inputs with respective reference 18, 23 which may be set up according to various physical characteristics of the person, Fig. 9 (not shown). The results of each comparison are stored in respective one-shot circuits 19, 24 which control a logic circuit for a ticket distributer 2, which is operated by a zero detector 8. The distributer may have two pre-printed ticket compartments for normal and abnormal pressure indications, Fig. 7 (not shown), or four compartments for normal or abnormal systolic and normal or abnormal diastolic pressure indications, Fig. 8 (not shown). The circuitry 11-21 may be analogue, Fig.5 (not shown), or a combination of analogue and digital, Fig.6 (not shown).
