The antiskid characteristics of the sporting boot sole are improved by extending the base of the sole beyond the normal outer contour of the sole. This is carried out along the edges (11, 12) which are parallel to the longitudinal symmetry axis (8) of the sole. The extensions (9, 10) are provided along the longitudinal edges except the rounded parts (18, 19) at the point and heal part of the shoe. The protruding edges can have a square or a rounded profile. The protruding part can be either a continuous band or interrupted by gaps. |
