The tourniquet produces a stasis effect on the limb. It has a lock housing accommodating a pivoting strip locking lever (3) onto which the end of the strip forming the loop is detachably fixed. Inside the housing (2) is a leaf spring (21), between which and part of the housing an end of the strip (3) is inserted and locked. The strip end has a transverse protrusion, and a mechanism acts against the strip end or the spring, releasing the end from the locked position. The protrusion can hook behind a transverse rib on the tappet ( 20) of the locking lever (4), while the mechanism can have a tongue (30) inclined upwards towards the loop (7) of the strip. |
