Disubstituted-O-[1-fluoro-2-halogeno-ethyl]-phosphoric (phosphonic) acid esters of the formula in which R1 is alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine or bromine, R2 is alkyl or alkoxy each with 1 to 4 carbon atoms and optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine or bromine, or phenyl optionally substituted by at least one of nitro and halogen, X is chlorine or bromine, and Y is hydrogen or fluorine, WHICH POSSESS INSECTICIDAL, ACARICIDAL AND NEMATICIDAL PROPERTIES.
