Fabric drying air control - uses temp. and steam meters to regulate air supply and reduce energy consumption

The appts. controls the air consumption in a drying and fixing unit, partic. for full-width fabrics. Temperature sensors are located at the entry and exit slits for the fabric to travel through the treatment chamber. A steam meter is located in the treatment zone. The sensors and meter operate with a control unit for the air and/or fresh air supply. The system ensures the most economical use of energy by controlling the vol. and condition of the air for the drying and fixing process.
