An electrical ignition arrangement for a gas burner comprising a spark igniter 16 and an ignition safety device 17 having a heat sensor 172, the igniter 16 and safety device 17 being arranged in pre-determined positions relative to each other adjacent the burner 12 in a common holder 19 adapted to be secured to a flange 15 integral with a mixing tube 10. The igniter 16 and safety device 17 are located in apertures in the flange 15 and retained in place by a clamping bow 19 and screw 20 which urges flanges 161 and 171 respectively against the underside of flange 15. The electrode tip 162 and heat sensor 172 project through apertures 18 in the burner housing 11. |
