The object of the equipment is to obtain separate strips, folded onto respective pallets, from a band of rubber which contains longitudinal cuts. For this purpose the band obtained from a forming station has several series of longitudinal cuts which are separated by non-cut areas, and moves on a conveyor device (3). A plurality of sleeves (7) which oscillate in two perpendicular directions, one of which is parallel to the direction of feed of the band, arrange the folded strips on pallets (26). A rubber strip is inserted in each of the sleeves (7) by the action of deflectors (22). The conveyor device consists of a plurality of drive belts (3) which are arranged in series; the deflectors (22) are arranged between one belt (3) and the next. <IMAGE>
