<p>The ski-lift tow suspension system has a cable drum subjected to the action of a helical spring braced for drawing in the cable. It is linked to a brake mechanism, restricting cable paying-out speed, for gentle and smooth load acceleration. The shaft (28) of the drum (22) has a double-action planetary gearing through-flow pump (38) coupled to it. This incorporates separate fluid storage units, for each direction, integrated in the pump unit. These are interconnected, firstly by the pump, and secondly by a connecting duct, linked to a closed fluid circuit, which determines the volume of flow. A control valve may be mounted in the duct.</p> |
