The control valve for toilet cistern is made of plastic. It comprises a tubular base fitting with an integral flange. The upper end of the fitting forms a flushing valve seat while the outer part has external threading for receiving a nut by which the fitting is fixed in an opening of the cistern. Sealing rings are installed between the flange and the adjoining surface of the cistern. The lower and outer part of the fitting is externally threaded for coupling it to a water discharge pipe. A one-piece pressure water inlet pipe is positioned between the lower side of the flange and the lower threaded outer section.
