A suction ribbon filter is fitted with an inflow box which can be raised and lowered. Shaped sealing sections are fixed to its lower edges and can be pressed against peripheral sealing strips which surround the collecting vat. A vacuum pump is connected to the vat via a valve, and a filtrate pump can be used to pass the filtrate via a stop cock to the filtrate storage tank. |
