The work table (1) has legs (2) supporting a frame construction (3) mounting a hopper shaped top member (4) sloped downward toward the center hole for air suction tube (5) connecting to a suction pump (6) and having a control valve (7) at the front portion. The frame (3) mounts a top plate (8) having perforations (9) for sucking air through. In operation, pattern pieces (14) are placed on the plate (8) to form a desired pattern sheet (16) and to be taped with adhesive tape (15). The air suction through the perforations in the plate (8) firmly holds the pattern pieces in position to facilitate the working.
