<p>The panel material is poured into mould frames partitioned into a number of compartments, enclosed at the narrower vertical sides by profiled bars and on the underside by buffers for knocking the panels out, these also being fitted with profiled bars and fitting between the partitions. After filling the compartments (4) with the molten material (12) and placing the grille (8) with profiled bars forming the cover in place, the buffers are raised so that some of the molten material overflows through the slots in the grille. This material is then scraped off, the grille withdrawn, and the panels are knocked out.</p> |
