Ventilator for car window - with flow control slots and wind deflector plates on outside preventing entry of dirt

The leading edge of the window frame on the car has a special slot left between it and the edge of the glass. The slot is filled with a metal insert strip with air control slots on the inside and an angled deflector plate on the outside, pointing rearwards. Air is drawn out of the strip while rain and dirt are unable to enter. The air control slots comprise two slotted plates which are slid relative to each other for control. The outside deflector plate also prevents a thief from inserting tools to open the car door. The plate forms part of the door frame and thus the strip is not easily pushed in to gain access to the car.
