<p>The master brake cylinder drives a pneumatic brake servo via a control cylinder. The main servo is coupled to the distributor control vavel (50) by a simple hydraulic servo, this provides the total servo force onto the distributor valve, with all the brake components separate for simple mounting. If the servo fails the bypass lines from the master brake cylinder to the distributor valve ensure goof manual braking. The system ensures that the relative pressure levels of the brake circuits are preserved, no matter what the output from the brake servo.</p> |
