<p>carpet for covering wall or floor surfaces in rooms is made from patches of material in equal or different sizes and colours, attached to a backing material according to the desired pattern. The backing may consist of e.g. wrapping paper reinforced with canvas or jute, while the patches may consists of carpet remnants or tiles and are attached by adhesion. The carpet can be supplied in a kit contg. backing carpeting, cutting tool, adhesive and instructions, and provides a creative occupation for leisure-time while at the same time serving to render the home more attractive, and improving sound and heat insulation properties. The carpet can be based on a master pattern, or on one's own ideas or motifs. The size of the carpet can be selected according to taste or the dimensions of the wall or floor surface.</p> |
