<p>The reversible cutting blade (3) is intended for use mainly on copy turning lathes, the special feture of the design is to provide good chip breaking. The blade has a main cutting edge (1) and a second edge (2). The two edges are designed with setting angles (10) and (4) respectively the values of these angles may vary. The main edge (1) and the auxiliary edge (2) have different lengths and the chip coming off the workpiece shows narrow relatively thin part nd an even narrower, relatively thick part, the two parts enclosing an angle according to the design of the blade.</p> |
