<p>A dough rolling machine for the mfr. of Swiss Rolls includes a belt conveyor for the cut-up dough strips., straddled by a frame which is moved on rollers by a cam drive at the same speed as the conveyor for as long as it takes serrated rollers on it to complete one revolution. It is then returned by a spring. Each roller is fitted with two hinged serrated segments which pick up one end of a dough strip and rolls it up across the moving belt to form a helix. Swiss rolls of uniform quality are produced by this machine continuously. No labour is required and the plant has a high output.</p> |
