<p>Control apparatus for controlling registration in a multistation printing system incorporates a phototransistor for producing a pulse in response to light impinging thereon, and a multistage amplifier capacitively coupled to the phototransistor for amplifying the pulse. The input of the amplifier is short-circuited, except during short periods which overlap the pulses, so as to prevent faulty operation due to varying ambient conditions.</p> |
