<p>Flexible, cellular ground cover, esp. for gymnasiums, sports fields, playgrounds, etc. is prepd. by (a) mixing (I) elastic rubber or plastic granules, and (II) a binder, (b) casting the mixt. to form the cover, and (c) exercising a uniformly distributed pressure on the mixt. during its solidification. Process gives supple, non-slip covers with a good resistance to abrasion and a durable permeability to moisture.</p> |
