1467627 Windows STANTEK AS 28 March 1974 [28 March 1973] 13823/74 Heading E1J A pivot window comprises a rabetted sash 5 and frame 2 hinged together, a strip 6 being secured in the sash rabbet on one side of the hinge a strip (3) secured on the frame rabbet on the other side of the hinge, sealing strips 8, (9) which respectively engage between the sash rabbet and the frame and between the frame rabbet and sash, further sealing means (12) extending along the hinge and engaging the ends of the sealing strips when the window is closed. The sealing means (12) has a portion secured between a wall of the frame rabbet and a hinge part (11) and has a tubular sealing portion. The hinge comprises parts (10, 11) secured respectively in sash and frame rabbets. Cover strips (4), 7 are secured to respective rabbet strips 6, (3). |
