<p>Method of forming a fuel/water emulsion e.g. for shaft, esp. blast furnaces, is by passing liqd. fuel in a suitable enclosure and pref. as a thin sheet, immediately adjacent or in contact with a porous material, through which water vapour is blown towards the fuel. The water vapour is blown in proportions of mass, temp and pressure such that it condenses rapidly after reaching the fuel, to form an emulsion.</p> |
