An improved breathing aid device comprises an elongated arched conduit portion and a hollow neck portion extending from one end of the conduit portion and a flange portion located at the end of the neck portion opposite the conduit portion. The device includes a plurality of parallel ribs extending lengthwise within the interior of the conduit portion providing a plurality of channels for guiding a catheter inserted into the device.
