<p>1533746 Rotary ignition distributors DUCELLIER ET CIE 20 Jan 1976 [6 Feb 1975] 02106/76 Heading H1N In an ignition distributor, the contact breaker arm 14 is mounted on one end of an arm 25 carried by the rotatable support plate 12 with its other end 25a guided in a slot 29 whereby as the rotatable plate 12 moves under the action of the vacuum capsule 17, 18 the breaker arm 14 moves with the plate 12 and has an additional movement due to the arm 25. The slot 29 may be sloped so that the breaker arm 14 moves at a steady rate or at a changing rate with the movement of the plate 12 and in one embodiment a spring (32), Fig. 5 (not shown), may resist the movement in the slot 29 after some lost motion so that the rate of change is reduced. A spring 21 attached to the plate 12 acts against the vacuum capsule 19 and adjustable stops 22, 23 limit the movement of the plate 12.</p> |
