<p>Sintered material from rotary tubular kilns, roasting furnaces, sintering furnaces etc. is cooled rapidly and thoroughly by fans which blow air underneath the grate sections holding the material. The air heated by passing through the grate sections is then fed directly to the sintering appts. as drying or combustion air, without interposing further fans.</p> |
