<p>The separator is used for packing bottles into a case and is made from a flat sheet of cardboard(3). This is provided with parallel fold lines(2) to give five areas in the form of strips. The second and fourth strips(4) have alternative narrow(7) and wide(6) cutouts to suit the necks and bases of the bottles, the narrow cutouts on one strip being opposite the wide cutouts on the other strip. The cardboard sheet is folded up, each two outer strips (5) providing a double thickness and a support for the tops and bottoms of the bottles to prevent lateral movement.</p> |
