TROUBLE INSPECTION INSTRUMENT FOR CLUTCH AND GEAR DRIVING SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To securely find all faults including a fault which occurs during actual driving by deciding whether or not a fault occurs to a solenoid valve which controls each cylinder and a working oil supply part which control a gear switching cylinder according to the operational state of those cylinders. CONSTITUTION:The output of an engine 1 is transmitted to the automatic trans mission 3 through a dry single-plate clutch 2 and the gear 3 drives driving wheels 5 for traveling forward and reversing at a specific change gear ratio through a differential gear mechanism 4. Then it is decided whether the cylinders 16 and 17 for gear switching and cylinder 23 for clutch control which control the cylinders are faulty or not according to the operation state of the cylinders. At such a time, respective solenoid valves 24 - 27 operate the cylinders 16 and 17 according to the actual travel of the vehicle, so in the respective solenoid valves and supply part for working oil, various faults are generated, and the presence of those faults are inspected.
