PURPOSE:To attain the standardization of tasks and the high efficieny in a restaurant service system by sytemizing the restaurant processes including an ordering process through a payment process and furthermore confirming the cooking jobs in a kitchen via the visual recognition of an order menu shown on a display of each table. CONSTITUTION:A waiter transmits the orders of customers by inputting the table numbers, the number of customers the menus, the quantity, etc., to a portable terminal 2. These transmitted information are received by a receiver 3 and sent to a store controller 6. Then the orders are instructed on a color display 4 in a kitchen. The cook instruction screen of the kitchen is divided for display of the table numbers, the menu names, the quantity, and the ordering times respectively for each order of customers. Then a slip is issued via a printer when all menus of a single order are cooked. An electronic cash register 1 calls out the information out of the slip with input of the corresponding table number. Thus the tasks are standardized together with high efficiency attained in a restaurant service system. |
