<p>PURPOSE:To perform operation with a feeling similar to the actual tagging operation of a real instrument body by selecting one optional element graphics which are displayed on an image display means together with plural character strings and graphics and using it as a tag. CONSTITUTION:Request contents are sent to an input processing part 3 through a keyboard 5. The request contents which are sent to the input processing means 3 are sent to a screen display processing part 4 as a menu display request signal indicating that a character card stored in a registered character card memory 9 is displayed at a specified position on the current display screen of a CRT. The image processing part 4 which receives the request signal including display position specification reads the storage contents of the memory 9, composes the menu display of the character card at a specified position in an image signal being transmitted currently to the CRT, and sends and sends and displays the composite signal on the CRT 1. When one of the character cards is selected by operating a mouse 6, it is sent to a tag takeout processing part 10, which detects its position information and the selected character card and marks the character card in the memory 9 to indicate the selection.</p> |
