MARKING APPARATUS FOR UNDERGROUND BURIED PIPE

PURPOSE:To hold a strength of a joint by covering a terminal section for electric energization of a heat generating coil with a connector of a resonator completely to prevent corrosion of the terminal section. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating coil 3 is buried into socket sections 2 and 2 in such a manner as to turn in the circumferential directions thereof while terminal sections 4 and 4 are provided on the external surface thereof to energize the heat generating coil 3 from outside. A resonator 7 is provided with a pair of connection cables 10 and 10 tipped with a connector. Connectors 9 and 9 are formed into such a cap that can be fitted onto bosses 5 and 5 to cover the terminal sections 4 and 4 of a pipe joint 1 completely. Thus will not allow the terminal sections to contact water or the like contained in the soil after a pipe is buried to prevent corrosion of the terminal sections.
