The timer, for a distribution system, is located inside a standard housing that mounts onto a support rail and is designed to accord with identical housings. The housing has a recess in one face to locate the rail and a spring loaded slider projecting laterally into this recess and engaging behind the rail overhang. The rail second overhang engages a slot in the side of the recess opposite the slider. Any space in the housing not occupied by the timer contains resistors to give different voltages.
