<p>The vehicle is fitted with two driving positions, reached by rotating the driving seat about 180 deg.. Two sets of steering controls are fitted, so that the vehicle can be moved backwards to operate the attachments. In order to provide a fail-safe control an interlock blocks the forward travel of the vehicle if the controls are set for rearward control. To move the vehicle normally along the road the driver has to rotate his seat as well as re-setting the drive position selector lever. This unblocks the drive control. Suitable blocking controls can include clutch, throttle and gear selector.</p> |
