<p>The multiple use breakdown vehicle has a platform with a recess for a winch. There is also a jib which has two arms (with two positions) to lift and carry a vehicle. The arms are pivoted and carry a pulley and fork. Ties support the ends of the jib, in conjunction with a stabiliser. The lower tie carries a hook to grip a towed vehicle. An additional pulley forward of the jib pivot enables a vehicle to be winch hauled on to the breakdown vehicle. For this purpose, hinged ramps can be fitted at the end of the breakdown vehicle.</p> |
