The tubular chimney section is made up from one or more inner lining tube sections, superimposed one above another, with an encompassing outer concrete tube section, and intervening heat-insulating panels. Detachable locking bolts (5) are inserted in the concrete tube section (2), near its lower end. The bolts pass through into the lining tube and retain the bottom inner lining section (1). The bolts are inserted diametrally opposite each other, and are mounted in recesses (4) in this section. The concrete outer sheath sections are prevented from falling off the chimney lining.
