The copy milling cutter consists of a body with several recesses to accommodate the cutting blades secured against the seats of the holders by retaining bolts. The body has recesses carrying cutting blades fixed to the body by a retaining bolt and clamping element. The recess has a cutting blade holder with two seating surfaces set radially apart. The seating surfaces support corresponding surfaces on the rear surface of the cutting blade. Between the two seating surfaces a fitting groove is provided on the blade holder into which a step provided at the rear of cutting blade enters with snug fitting in radial direction.
