The absorber is intended for solar energy collection. The design is such that the flow ducts for the heated liquid have each approximately identical flow resistance measured over the entire length. All the flow ducts are of roughly the same length when measured overall between the distributor pipe and the return or collector pipeline. The flow ducts run parallel to each other along the central section of the absorber element.
