Dispenser for masonry joint secondary plastic foam sealant - has guide plates and pressure disc with depth limiter stop

The appliance is used for introducing smooth round strands of foamed polyethylene, or other secondary sealant, into the joint gaps between large-format pre-fabricated building slabs, in walls and elsewhere. A primary sealing mass of permanently elastic material is also used. The dispenser incorporates guide plates (20) for squeezing the strand (14) into the joint gap. A pressing wheel (28) forces it a fixed distance inwards into the joint depth. There is also a stop (36), limiting the depth of insertion, supported on the masonry (10) at the side of the joint (16). A handle (34) is used for guiding the dispenser along the line of the joint.
