The ramp has an upwards swinging drive-over plate which includes a T-shaped profile (2) attached by its web (3) to the side of the ramp (1). Attached to the edge of the flange of the T-shaped profile (2), and facing away from the ramp is an open U-shaped extension (5) which forms a cup supporting a downwards-projecting bulbous end (6) of the drive-over plate (7). Below the spherical end (6) and the cup (5) seat, the drive-over plate has another U-shaped profile (8) which in turn forms a cup for the U-shaped profile (5) of the T-shaped profile (2). The top surface of the T-shaped profile (2) joins the top surface of a platform (9) of the ramp (1), and the top surface of over plate (7) when in horizontal position is in line with the top surface of the platform (9) of the ramp (1).
