<p>Apparatus for effecting measurement of forces exerted by a pneumatic tire against a surface along which the tire is rolled, specifically at an interface between the tire and surface, the apparatus including an elongate bed upon which a carriage is shiftably supported. The carriage is adapted to carry an inflated tire sample in rolling contact with the bed. An assembly is provided and forms part of the bed for measuring forces exerted by the tire as the latter rolls thereover.
