Water enters the system from the mains and flows through safety and non return valves into an electric water heater of the type normally used to provide domestic hot water. The outlet of the heater has a branch which serves a basin, sink and bath. A second branch from the outlet goes to an electrically driven pump which circulates the water to radiators in the rooms of the dwelling. A room thermostat switches the pump on and off according to the heating demand. The thermostat, the pump and the heater are all fed from the dwelling electricity supply.
|
