Imidazoles and triazoles of formula (I) and their salts are new: (Y is =N- or =C(R)-; R, R1 and R2 are H, halo, NO2 or alkyl; R3 = H, furyl, thienyl or hydrocarbyl opt. substd. by one or more halo, acyloxy, CN, OH, NO2, alkoxy or opt. halogenated alkyl; R4 = H, halo, NO2, phenyl, alkoxy or alkyl opt. halogenated; n = 1-5; Z = CO or one of its derivs.).
