The boat hull is made up of a number of prefabricated elements consisting of two parallel longitudinal pieces which form the sides of the hull. The pieces are joined by a bow piece and may also be fitted with a similar stern section. The segments may be modified to incorporate inboard engines and may also be fitted with a cabin top. In this way a number of hull designs may be produced from modules produced in greater quantities. The stern section can be hinged athwartships to allow the engine to be lifted from the water.
