Synthetic polyamide/rubber compsns - by softening polyamide surface

Synthetic polyamide resin is bonded to a rubber compsn. by (a) deforming the polyamide resin in order to soften at least its surface, (b) contacting the softened surface with the rubber compsn. and (c) allowing the softened surface to cool in contact with the rubber compsn. Strong bonds between the polyamide resin and the rubber compsn.
